Attending the program on behalf of the South Korean delegation were Professor Heather JY Greene (Koshin University College of Medicine); Mr. Daekun Yoo (Keynoty System); Mr. Taejun Park and Mr. Younghun Lee (Sin Sang Group – Plastic Surgery & Dermatology); Mr. Sungsoo Bae (Korean Air); Mr. Won Hyuk Lee (PharmMedicare Medical Equipment); Mr. Sunho Lee (Solendos and Daewoong Pharmaceutical); Mr. Hyungseung Kim and Mr. Pham Le Duy Thach (Can Tho Infrastructure Development); along with the delegation's interpreters.
Representing Hue Central Hospital were Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Hospital Director, along with members of the Board of Directors and leadership from Hue Central Hospital Campus 2, Hue Central International Hospital, and relevant centers, departments, and divisions.
The working session focused on several key strategic directions, including the establishment of a medical complex—featuring manufacturing facilities and a research and development center—in the city of Hue or on the campus of Hue Central Hospital, as well as plans to develop a high-end health check-up center at the hospital. Both parties also discussed development opportunities in specialized fields such as plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, medical equipment, technology transfer, scientific research, high-quality workforce training, and the establishment of specialized centers.
In addition, the South Korean delegation toured the facilities at Hue Central Hospital and held working sessions with the hospital's leadership and specialized units—including the Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery, the International Aesthetic Center, the Center for Health Check-ups and Occupational Diseases, and the Hue Central International Hospital.
This activity contributes to expanding Hue Central Hospital's international partnerships and lays the groundwork for advancing specialized medical projects and developing high-quality healthcare services, with the ultimate goal of establishing Hue City as a medical tourism destination and a prestigious regional medical hub.
