On the morning of May 29, Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony for four bone marrow transplant patients. These included the 17th pediatric Thalassemia patient to undergo an allogeneic transplant (using marrow from a biological older brother), the first patient treated for relapsed mediastinal germ cell tumor via transplant, and the 55th and 56th patients to receive autologous transplants for neuroblastoma.

From June 8 to June 10, 2026, Hue Central Hospital hosted a delegation of South Korean partners to discuss expanding cooperation in healthcare, research and development, technology transfer, and the development of specialized medical services in Hue City.

In the week following the conclusion of its free tobacco cessation awareness and consultation campaign, Hue Central Hospital continues to observe sustained interest from patients, their families, and the general public regarding tobacco harm prevention—particularly a demand for counseling and support in the process of quitting smoking.
